Volzhsky is an industrial city in Volgograd Oblast, Russia, located on the east bank of the Volga River and its distributary the Akhtuba, 20 kilometers (12 mi) northeast of Volgograd. Population: 321,427 (2021 census); 314,255 (2010 census); 313,169 (2002 census); 268,842 (1989 Soviet census).
