Scarsdale

Scarsdale is a coterminous town and village in Westchester County, New York, United States, 19 miles (31 km) north of New York City. It is on 6.683 square miles (17.31 km2) and is located inland within the Bronx River Valley. The Town of Scarsdale is coextensive with the Village of Scarsdale, but the community has opted to operate solely with a village government. Scarsdale includes 17 neighborhoods which are bundled into the geographic regions of Edgewood, Fox Meadow, Greenacres, Heathcote, and Quaker Ridge. It is served by the Scarsdale station of the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line. Scarsdale has six entries on the National Register of Historic Places.
