Kolpino is a municipal city in Kolpinsky District of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia, located on the Izhora River 26 kilometers (16 mi) southeast of St. Petersburg proper. Population: 138,979 (2010 census); 136,632 (2002 census); 141,457 (1989 Soviet census); 81,000 (1972); 8,076 (1897).
