Fundão is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Espírito Santo. Part of the Greater Vitória metropolitan region, the Intermediate Region of Vitória, and the Immediate Region of Vitória, it is located north of the state capital, approximately 53 kilometres (33 mi) away. Covering an area of 288.724 square kilometres (111.477 sq mi), of which 0.9 square kilometres (0.35 sq mi) is urban, its population was recorded as 18,014 inhabitants by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) in 2022.
