El Vigía
El Vigía is a city in Mérida State, Venezuela, and the capital of Alberto Adriani Municipality. It is located on the Andean piedmont on a plateau whose highest point is at an elevation of 130 m (430 ft), where the Chama River leaves the Cordillera de Mérida. The city stands at a crossroads of the highway routes leading to the states of Táchira, Zulia and Trujillo, and is traversed by Troncal 1 of the Pan-American Highway.
