Brøndby Kommune, a municipality in the former Copenhagen County, is on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 20.85 km2 (8.05 sq mi), and has a total population of 40,990 (2026). Its mayor is Maja Højgaard, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party.
